1995

Real Chocolate Industry was Founded

Real Chocolate Industry was established in a small plant located in Desa Serdang in 1995 with the goal of bringing the taste of fine chocolates to Malaysians. We introduced our first three products: the Triangle Chocolate Bar, Popcorn Chocolate and the Almond and Assorted Nuts Milk Chocolate tin, which were originally sold in supermarkets and duty-free stores. By 1998, the Triangle Chocolate Bar was replaced by our classic Camior Bar Chocolate.

1999

New Factory at Seri Kembangan

With ever growing demand, we relocated to a new and larger factory in the Seri Kembangan Industrial Park which allowed us to use better equipment and more advanced machinery. Today, this factory still serves as our headquarters and main production facility.

2000

Beryl’s Chocolate & Confectionery was founded

In 2000, our company was renamed to Beryl’s Chocolate & Confectionery Sdn Bhd. We also introduced new chocolate varieties during this time, such as our classic panned nut chocolate jars.

2003

Tiramisu Chocolate was launched

In 2003, we introduced our signature Tiramisu Chocolate, named after the classic Italian dessert. Made with creamy chocolate with a hint of coffee and coated in rich cocoa powder, our Tiramisu Chocolate became an overnight sensation with our customers.

2005

First Retail Outlet Opened

Beryl’s Chocolate Wonderland, our first retail outlet, was opened at our Seri Kembangan plant and gave customers a chance to experience our wide selection of chocolates.

2007

Global Export of Our Products

Beryl's chocolates can now be found across a number of countries including Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines & Singapore.

2008

Opening of Second Factory & Launch of Beryl’s Gourmet

In 2008, our second full production facility was opened in Bandar Baru Bangi. At the same time, Beyrl’s Gourmet was launched with a wide range of chocolate ingredients aimed towards the food service industry.

2010

Beryl’s Educational Tour

Beryl's educational tour for students was launched, allowing children to tour the factory and visit our chocolate museum to learn the origins of chocolate and how chocolates are made.

2013

Opening of Beryl’s Cookie Factory

In 2013, Beryl’s Cookie Factory was opened in Seri Kembangan focusing on the production of cookies and other confectioneries.

2014

Launch of Retail Outlets across Malaysia & Singapore

From 2014, Beryl’s Chocolate started opening retail outlets across Malaysia at major shopping destinations such as KLIA 2, Mitsui Outlet Park and Love Lane, Penang. We also expanded our retail presence to Singapore with our first outlet in Harbour Front Singapore.

2018

New Beryl’s Chocolate Museum & Tour Facility

In 2018, Beryl’s Chocolate relocated the museum and tour facility to a new standalone facility located next to our Seri Kembangan plant. Featuring a chocolate museum with artifacts collected from all over the world and a guided tour that highlights the process of chocolate making, this new facility is the ultimate way for guests to learn all they need about the world of Chocolate.

2023

20 Retail Outlets in Total

By 2023, Beryl’s Chocolate has achieved a new milestone by expanding our retail presence to more than 20 outlets across the Klang Valley, Melaka, Johor, Penang and Singapore.
